Following the successful completion of the MIT training, “the serious side of life” now begins for around 30 participants in the third phase of the project. They will be accompanied by mentors to association meetings, take part in debates in district advisory councils and local councils, or found their own associations and initiatives. In preparation for this third Pahse after the summer break, all participants were invited to a kick-off event on September 12, 2021. Place of the meeting was the area of the small animal breeder association in Plattenhardt. The sunny weather allowed for an outdoor gathering. During the kick-off meeting, all participants who had successfully completed their MIT exams before the summer break were presented with their certificates. The highlight was a draw for three trips to Berlin in 2022, provided by members of the Bundestag from Filderstadt. In addition to certificates and the draw, mentors were also present to arrange the next appointments and meetings in direct contact with the participants.
