After the successful completion of the first MIT project, a continuation is planned: MIT 2.0 is to transfer the educational offer of MIT 1.0 into the digital world. A revision and updating of the MIT modules and their implementation as online modules are planned.

At the same time, multipliers are to be trained in nine cities throughout Germany in order to make third-country nationals and institutions working with this target group aware of the MIT 2.0 offer.

MIT 2.0 is currently in the application and review phase with the AMIF Fund, the European Union’s funding programme. AMIF stands for “Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund” of the EU. In the event of a positive evaluation and subsequent funding of MIT 2.0, it is planned that the new project will start at the beginning of 2024. It is planned to run for three years.
